Somewhere I heard about people that are finding fun stuff on Google Street View. When Google first started including satellite images, I had a lot of fun looking for fun stuff there. Airplane museums, mostly. Big surprise. The idea of finding fun stuff on Street View seems a lot harder, and it probably is, but there are already a few sites set up that are doing just that.

Last night I was browsing on http://www.streetviewfun.com and there was a broken link to fighter jets in flight. I went looking for another example of that, but failed. Then when I was just browsing, and for reasons I cannot explain, I was looking at Idaho City, Idaho. For those of you not local, that's an old mining town that is now a summer vacation destination. While there, I found this.
